current pattern progress.

This is going to be a kiddo sweater/jacket and will end up working with that Day of the Dead illustration I posted yesterday. 

I'm about half way done... and happy to report, so far so good. (Other than the ripping that had to take place on the bottom edging of the sweater earlier today. But I fixed that with little to no tears!)

I'll post some better pics tomorrow, ones that aren't so sneaky and nondescript.

Dia de los Muertos.

This does have to do with knitting, believe it or not. 

I'm in the middle of working up a new pattern and I'll have it available in the next week or so... 

just in time to knit up for Day of the Dead. 

I sketched up a few skull ideas/illustrations...

this will make sense as far as how it links to the pattern later...

and then scanned them in to my computer.
I'm tweaking and playing with color stories... and having a blast.
