Seattle by Train

I can't believe this was my first trip by train! Now I can say that it's the best way to go if you're only traveling 3 or so hours like I did from Portland to Seattle. The view out the window was lovely and relaxing. My aunt and I traveled most of the trip in the dining car playing cards. I think next time I'll take Lu, my 5 year old, she would get a kick out of it! Here are a few pics from the trip a you can find more here! Hope everyone had a wonderful and yummy Thanksgiving! I "need" these boots

...except in the gray color I think. I saw them in eddie bauer's catalog and usually i'm not a huge fan of eb... but I would wear these everyday. Comfortable, cute and would be perfect with all the jersey and cotton and wool skirts I'm planning to make for fall. But I'll just have to hope and dream that someone will buy them in gray in a 7 and then decide to sell them on craigslist or ebay for way less.... cause I'm broke. *sniff*
